Here’s a teaser of Anne Curtis’ upcoming project as she returns after two years.
ANNE CURTIS – “She is back.” After a hiatus of two years, Anne Curtis shares a teaser online about returning to showbiz.
Over two years ago or last December 2019, Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis went on leave from “It’s Showtime” as an expectant mother. And since then, she did not accept any more projects to focus on motherhood. She went to Australia but giving birth there was not a part of the plan. She was left with no choice because of the pandemic.
Accordingly, her initial plan is to return after Dahlia turns one but the surge of COVID-19-infected cases has postponed her plans. And amid her prolonged break, she has always assured her fans and supporters that she will be back no matter what, specifically to “It’s Showtime,” when the time is right.
And just recently, in time of her birthday, the screen superstar literally stepped into the limelight again as seen in her latest post. In a black-and-white teaser, the only color that popped at the end of it is her signature red microphone in hand.
“She’s back,” says the minute-long video where Anne was seen dancing and being followed by the spotlight. Curtis captioned the video, “This is for everyone I LUV.”
The red microphone is something she uses in her past major performances. She’s a non-singer but people loved her confidence and exceptional talent to bring entertainment – a real artist indeed. Her concerts were called “AnneKapal” and despite not having talent in singing, her love and passion for it brought her success as a recording artist.
