Rowena Guanzon Exposes Few Supporters on Marcos-Duterte Proclamation Rally
Former Commission on Election (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon revealed that there are only a few supporters attended the Marcos-Duterte proclamation rally.
Guanzon disclosed the exact numbers of supporters at the UniTeam proclamation event organized by presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte on February 8 in a Twitter post. Guanzon recounted what a buddy mentioned who attended the proclamation rally at the Philippine Arena in a Twitter post on Thursday, February 10.

Only a few individuals, according to her acquaintance, are inside the arena. As a result, she stated that the Marcos-Duterte team staged the events solely for photo purposes. In his tweet, he also mentioned the Comelec. She believes that all rallies should be held outside.
“A friend was in The Arena . Konti daw tao, photo ops lang,” she wrote
“Dapat outdoor lahat ng rally. Hello @COMELEC” she added.
It had previously been stated that the Philippine Arena in Sta. However, owing to the health protocol in place, only half of the people were allowed to access the area. As a result, the UniTeam event organizers are only expecting 25,000 people.
UniTeam, on the other hand, has yet to provide a declaration on the actual number of persons that attended its proclamation event on February 8. Guanzon was a member of the First Division of the Comelec, and she had indicated that she voted to approve the petitions and disqualify Marcos Jr.
Due to her retirement, before the ruling was issued, her vote was not tallied. The retired commissioner, on the other hand, stated in her published Opinion that Marcos’ “repeated and persistent” refusal to submit his ITRs “constitutes a crime of moral turpitude.”
