Vice Pres. Leni Robredo Cites Internet Problems in PH
LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President said that she wants to improve the internet connection in the whole Philippines if she wins president.
Undeniably, one of the things that are needed by many people on a daily basis now with the advancement in technology is an internet connection. It is essential not only to students and working individuals as most people now subscribe for it every day.
The need for a stable internet connection was even more ignited amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Several companies adopted remote work schemes that allow employees to just work at home while remaining connected with the main firm. Most students are also under online classes now.
However, there are areas in the Philippines with huge internet problems. According to Vice President Leni Robredo, improving the internet connection in the whole country is one of the things she will focus on if she wins president in the Election 2022.
Vice Pres. Robredo herself has experienced the struggle caused by internet problems during KBP’s presidential forum. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the signal issues urged her to switch from using Zoom to using a phone to reconnect with the host and the audience of the forum.
The Vice President stressed that many people now are relying on technology thus she wants to give attention to the internet problems in the country most especially in the provinces.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo was set to fly to the areas of Odette victims but, instead of flying in the morning, she moved it in noontime so she can also accommodate the KBP invitation without missing her plan. She asked a favor to stay in a certain office so she can join the forum before going to the Odette victims.
