MORISETTE AMON – Kapamilya singer Morisette Amon is now married to fellow singer Dave Lamar and here are the highlights of the event.
The cat is finally out of the bag. Kapamilya singer Morisette Amon and fellow singer Dave Lamar finally tied the knot in a wedding attended by their closest friends and family. They got engaged in 2020 after years of dating. They’ve had their share of heartbreaks and struggle before coming to this point of their relationship and they see that all of those breakdowns made everything worth it.
“We are so happy to finally officially announce that WE ARE MARRIED! It was so hard trying to keep this a secret for the past several months, but we’re finally free!” says Mori in an Instagram post. She was glowing and stunning in her rustic chic bridal gown by Michael Leyva.
Their intimate garden ceremony was held at The Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa, Batangas. Her Michael Leyva wedding gown features details such as lace appliques, charming off-shoulder sleeves with spaghetti straps, and a form-fitting silhouette. She had her bestie Miko Dacanay as her hair and make-up artist and whilst she walked through the path leading to him, she was carrying with her a bouquet of red, pink, and white flowers arranged by event stylist Gideon Hermosa which completed her overall bridal look.
In their wedding video, they featured their music video for their song “Up And Away”. Sweetly, a part of the caption of the video read, “In line with the new EP, we thought of utilizing these songs as the soundtracks of this milestone video… Because it’s through music Dave and I crossed paths, it’s music that binds us together, and now it’s with music that we will build our goals and dreams around.”
In the video, they also recalled how things started between them – how they met over a decade ago, their reconnections, The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 stint, their split only to reconcile again, the things Mori had to let go for him that made her the best person for Dave, and many other heartwrenching rough patches they have gone through but led them to that day.
