Also, last year, her father went on social media and expressed controversial rants. It was allegedly about her boyfriend Dave Lamar. In the posts, Amay Amon has shady statements about a partner who incurs bad ideas to another. He was talking about the guy who had a bad influence on her.
However, despite the controversies, Morisette and her boyfriend were happy to announced just recently that they are getting married. Amid the feeling of being in cloud 9, some comments really make it to point of bursting the bubble.
One netizen commented in a post about the implications of Mori being engaged. Accordingly, it will affect her international career as there were other artists who have been in the same situation and never made it in the industry successfully.
But the Kapamilya singer, she believed that she got nothing to lose in marrying the man who accordingly helped her in her latest single. She firmly said, “I frankly don’t think I’m going to lose ANYTHING with my decision to get married, ESPECIALLY when the man I’m gonna share my life with is the same man who is currently helping me with my music..”
The commenter who claimed to be a fan said that he’s not judging her. He compared her situation to what happened with Jocelyn Enriquez and Charice Pempengco who is now known as Jake Zyrus.
