MANNY PACQUIAO – The presidential aspirant and incumbent Senator turned emotional as he talked about the hunger and unemployment in the Philippines.

In the upcoming May 2022 Election, the standard-bearer of political party PROMDI is Sen. Manny Pacquiao. His running-mate, the party’s bet for the vice-presidential race, is Representative Lito Atienza.

Pacquiao is one of the ten (10) candidates that remain on the official ballot for the presidential election in May. He is vocal about his desire to fight corruption and poverty in the Philippines if he will win the highest position in the government.

It is no secret to the public that Sen. Pacquiao lives a rags-to-riches story. He even had to stop schooling before to help his family.

The successful boxing career of Sen. Manny Pacquiao paved the way for him to take his family out of poverty. He is one of the richest politicians and personalities in the country now with multiple mansions across the nation.

However, despite the good life that they are living now, the past struggles and bitter experiences of the Senator will always be memories that can bring tears to his eyes. Meanwhile, he draws positive things from it.

During a recent interview with Boy Abunda, Sen. Manny Pacquiao went emotional regarding the hunger and unemployment problems in the Philippines. According to the PROMDI standard-bearer, he can’t stop getting emotional because he himself experienced hunger.

Pacquiao revealed that there were times when they only had water to get them through the day as they had no food. According to him, it is really his desire to help the poor because he experienced hunger. Here’s his interview:
