Manny Pacquiao Reacts To His Brother’s Alleged Support to Sara Duterte

Ruel Pacquiao Allegedly Endorses Sara Duterte Not Manny Pacquiao’s VP

MANNY PACQUIAO – The PROMDI standard-bearer reacted to the alleged support of his brother, Sarangani Representative Ruel Pacquiao, to Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte‘s vice presidential bid.

In the upcoming May 2022 Election, one of the presidential candidates is Sen. Manny Pacquiao who is running under PROMDI party alongside Representative Lito Atienza, his vice president.

Prior to filing his candidacy and amid issues involving the PDP-Laban where he’s also a member, the Senator was vocal that he is willing to even run as an independent candidate to push through his bid. He is determined to help more people if he becomes president.

It is no secret to the public that Sen. Pacquiao is one of the wealthiest government officials in the Philippines. He amassed most of his riches from a very successful boxing career which took place before he entered the political arena.

After confirming his presidential bid, Sen. Pacquiao announced his retirement from boxing. According to him, his bid is a commitment he has with God to help his fellowmen.

However, amid his tandem with Rep. Lito Atienza, there were rumors that his brother, Sarangani Rep. Ruel Pacquiao, is endorsing Lakas-CMD vice-presidential bet Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Pacquiao expressed that he will still talk to his brothers, Rep. Ruel Atienza and OFW Family Club Party-List Rep. Bobby Pacquiao, regarding their political standings.

The PROMDI standard-bearer said that he cannot control the decisions of his brothers but assured that he will try to convince them to support his running-mate in the upcoming poll.

Pacquiao stressed that he feels embarrassed towards Atienza whom he had chosen to be his vice president in the upcoming election because of his big trust in him with his experience in public service.
