PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (January 25)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area will bring rainy weather condition over some parts of the country.

On Tuesday (January 25, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the low-pressure has already entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It has been last spotted in the vicinity of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur as of 3:00 am today.

The low-pressure area will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern Samar, and Bicol Region as well as Visayas and Mindanao.

Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated light rains are expected over Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. Same weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

The rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila will have a fair weather condition but partly cloudy condition with isolated light rains are expected due to the northeast monsoon.

“Base nga po sa ating latest analysis, nananatiling maliit yung tiyansa nito na maging bagyo ngunit asahan natin na patuloy itong magdudulot ng pag-ulan sa ng Visayas at Mindanao, maging sa bahagi po ng Bicol Region,” weather specialist Grace Castañeda said.

The coastal water condition over Northern Luzon and the eastern section of central and southern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The coastal waters over Eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will remain moderate. The surrounding sea conditions over the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate.
