According to Salvador, there are two additional outstanding files for people who violated the quarantine procedure, such as those who falsified their quarantine certificates. He stated that the agency is looking through the documents before passing them over to the NBI.
“May pending pa po na dalawa pa na fa-file-an na mga nag-break po ng quarantine protocol, nandaya ng quarantine certificate so inaayos na po namin ang paperwork bago ipasa sa NBI,” said Salvador in a radio interview.
The identities of the two OFWs who falsified the quarantine certificate were not mentioned by the official. According to the official, two returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) have already been charged with evading quarantine, one of them is Gwyneth Chua, also known as “Poblacion Girl.”
“Pinaigting na namin ang pagbabantay… Nakipag-partner na kami sa NBI kaya lahat ng magbe-break ng quarantine protocol, siguradong makakasuhan,”S alvador added.
