Lady Shopper Expresses Frustration After Mall Staff Asked Her Child to Leave Over Pet Dog
A lady shopper expressed disappointment toward a mall after her child was reportedly asked to leave because they were with a dog.
Recently, Azeloa Ruth Bustamante Gelico, a Facebook user, posted photos of her child waiting outside the mall after some staff members reportedly asked them to leave because of the dog. The post quickly went viral and drew mixed reactions online.
According to Gelico, they were already at the grocery counter and had finished shopping when staff instructed her child to step outside because of the dog they were carrying. The mother said she agreed that pets are not allowed inside grocery areas, but she was shocked that her child was asked to wait outside the mall without a parent.

Azeloa explained that she continued paying for the groceries, believing her child was seated safely inside the mall. She later realized that her child had been made to sit outside the building. It caused her worry, as the area was close to the road and exposed to possible danger.
The lady shopper shared that while her child behaved well and followed instructions, the situation could have ended badly if something unexpected had happened.
It frustrates her that the mall promotes itself as pet-friendly and even has designated areas for pets. For her, this made the situation confusing and disappointing. She felt that the rules were not applied properly and that better judgment could have been used, especially since a child was involved.

Some netizens sympathized with the mother and raised concerns about child safety, while others pointed out the need to strictly follow mall and grocery rules.
