Leni Robredo Says She Would Vote For Manny Pacquiao as President If She Weren’t Running For The Position Herself
LENI ROBREDO – Vice President Leni Robredo said she would’ve voted for Sen. Manny Pacquiao if she weren’t a candidate in the 2022 election.
Previously, broadcast journalist Jessica Soho and her team invited the presidential aspirants over on their show for a much-needed interview. She boldly asks the presidential aspirants the questions that need to be asked like their intentions behind running the position and controversies thrown at them.
Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Ping Lacson, boxing icon-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao, and Manila Mayor Francis Isko Moreno agreed to be interviewed by the prominent broadcaster while former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. declined.
Bongbong Marcos accused Jessica Soho of being “biased” against his family. In a previous article, the GMA network contradicted the statement of the politician against the journalist.
The tv network said that Soho was recognized for her excellence and she has always been clinging to the network’s ethos – “Walang Kinikilingan, Walang Prinoprotektahan, Serbisyong Totoo Lamang.”
“It is unfortunate that Mr. Marcos has chosen to decline the invitation extended by the network,” GMA stated adding that the interview could be a perfect opportunity for them to inform the public about their advocacy.
In an interview that aired on Saturday, January 22, the award-winning journalist asked Vice President Leni Robredo: “Kung hindi ka kandidato, sino ang iboboto mo sa mga tumatakbong president?”
VP Robredo said that she would vote for Senator Manny Pacquiao as president is she weren’t running in the May 9 elections. She said, “Kilala ko siya at alam ko na napakasinsero n’yang tao.”
In a previous article, Leni Robredo revealed her plans of she will lose in the 2022 election. She said she will work closely with the margins and continue her advocacies.
