Maria Ozawa and Pinoy chef Jose Sarasola are no longer together anymore.
JOSE SARASOLA – Pinoy chef-actor Jose Sarasola and Japanese actress Maria Ozawa have broken up and this is the reason behind this.
Pinoy chef-actor Jose Sarasola is the boyfriend of famous Japanese actress Maria Ozawa. They went public about their relationship in 2017 and the foreigner actress stayed here. However, when the pandemic started, just when they thought that this whole coronavirus thing won’t last long, she flew back to Japan to her family and they settled in a long-distance relationship.
The lockdowns and travel restrictions due to the pandemic started in 2020 and they never expected it to become a global problem. And just recently, as the pandemic is running to its third year, Sarasola confirmed that they mutually agreed to end their relationship.
This whole pandemic fiasco did not allow her to return to the country. The Pinoy chef added that their split is not because of a big fight or a third party. It’s just that they see things are better off that way for them, for now. He said, “Wala naman kaming pinag-awayan, big fight, third party. Wala naman talagang away. It’s, like, ang hirap lang talaga ng LDR. We didn’t expect na ganito kahirap talaga.”
However, despite everything, they’ve also agreed to maintain their friendship. It’s just that being in a long-distance relationship does not fit them. It’s a difficult situation for both of them. And for him, he finds it hard not to have his partner by his side for a long time.
He explained based on a report from Push, “But as time went by, it just took a heavy toll on the both of us eh. Nahirapan kaming dalawa. Medyo hard na to continue the relationship, parang it’s hard when your partner is not here.”
