This type of job is wrong and unlawful, the actress said at the online press conference for “Click, Like, Share.” Vivoree said that there was a fraudster who purported to be her and preyed on unsuspecting folks.

“Ginamit ‘yung pangalan ko to scam other people. I think it’s as worse as being scammed directly,” said Vivoree.

The actress made no indication of the type of fraud in which her identity was employed. In the meanwhile, Vivoree is keeping the public in this state. ‘Don’t just hand out personal information to prevent scams,’ she said.

“Naloloko pa rin ‘yung ibang tao at ginagamit ‘yung pangalan mo. It’s very unfortunate na ginagawa ‘yun ng mga tao. We just have to be careful din talaga not to disclose our personal information. Let’s also ask help from other people. Trace ‘yung mga taong nambiktima,” she reminded.

Many scammers have recently preyed on their victims on social media and other internet platforms by exploiting the identities of prominent people. Some con artists stated that the individual they utilized was holding a raffle and activities where people might win a large sum of money.
