Rumors surfaced that Liza Soberano is pregnant
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz shared his reaction to the pregnancy rumors about one of his talents, actress Liza Soberano.
It is somehow common among female celebrities in the Philippines to be rumored as pregnant, especially if they have a boyfriend or partner. Just recently, one of the recent victims of pregnancy rumors is Liza.
In a Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie, this issue was brought up. His co-host Mama Loi asked this question: “Gaano ka totoong buntis si Liza Soberano?” The talent manager said that he already received this question from many people.
Ogie clarified that the pregnancy rumors about his “alaga” are not true. “Minsan lumiyad lang ng ganoon ang tiyan, buntis na,” he stressed. He also cited one instance that actress Michelle Vito also became a subject of the pregnancy rumors because of how she posed in a photo. Michelle explained on her social media post that she just finished eating when that photo was taken.
On the other hand, Ogie said that Liza is with her boyfriend and love team partner Enrique Gil in the States. Previously, the comedian-talent manager shared that the actress, along with her boyfriend, was not able to attend the Christmas Special of the Kapamilya network because she had to go to the U.S. as soon as possible.
It is because she received a call from her family saying that her grandmother who is ill wanted to see her. With this, Mama Loi mentioned that there were those who speculated that Liza Soberano just used her “lola” as an excuse to hide her pregnancy when she went to the States.
“Ang hindi namin naiisip, naiisip nila,” Ogie Diaz said and laughed. On a more serious note, the talent manager said that since Liza and Enrique are already inseparable, someday this might happen but for now, it is a “no”.
