Senator Estrada revealed that Enrile is suffering from pneumonia and has “slim chances of surviving.”

“I have just received a very, very sad information that our former colleague, former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, is currently in the intensive care unit of an undisclosed hospital suffering from pneumonia,” Estrada said.

“And I heard from a reliable source, very, very reliable source that he has slim chances of surviving,” he added. He cited that at 101 years old, he has a small chance of surviving based on his reliable source.

The senator then requested to offer prayers for Enrile. Enrile’s family has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
