Here’s what Ogie Diaz said about the absence of LizQuen in the recent Kapamilya event
Celebrity couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, known as the LizQuen tandem, were absent during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special, and here’s what comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz.
It has been a tradition of the Kapamilya network to have an event every holiday season in which stars are gathered together to provide entertainment for all the fans who have been supporting the media company.
However, LizQuen, one of the most popular love teams of ABS-CBN, was not able to attend the said event. In a recent episode of Ogie’s Showbiz Update vlog, as he is the manager of Liza, he shared the reason why the actress and her boyfriend weren’t there.
Ogie shared that Liza had to go to the States as soon as possible after getting the message saying that her grandmother was not doing well. On December 18, Liza took a flight to the U.S. with Enrique.
The comedian-talent manager shared that the grandmother of Liza wanted to see her and her brother before things get worst. With that, the actress was crying when she requested to her manager that she could travel as soon as possible. Liza is very close to her grandmother who raised her when she was in the States.
“Nag-wish pa si Liza na sana maabutan niyang buhay ang kaniyang lola at makausap niya ito at baka humaba pa ang buhay,” Ogie Diaz shared.
On her Twitter account, Liza Soberano also explained the absence of LizQuen in the ABS-CBN Christmas Special. She said that on the day before her flight, they were at the network to the recording for the said event however, she received the sad news after that.
