Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz reacted to rumors saying that reel and real life sweethearts Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil got married secretly.
Rumors surfaced just recently saying that the reel and real life sweethearts already tied the knot and this is the topic that Ogie discussed in a recent episode of his Showbiz Update vlog with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs.
The talent manager of Liza shared that there were fans who tagged him on a post showing the photo highlighting the identical rings that the actress and her boyfriend were wearing.
Because of this, Ogie Diaz immediately contacted his “alaga” regarding the rumored secret wedding. “Sabi ko, ‘totoo ba ‘to? Bakit walang sinasabi sa akin si Liza?’ Ako ‘yung manager hindi ko alam? Kaya dali-dali akong nag-text kay Liza,” he said.
The 23-year-old actress explained that she and Enrique were both wearing their rings on their right hand which is contrary to the tradition that wedding rings are being worn on the left hand.
Liza also said that the ring she is wearing was from her stylist Tito Perry while the one that her boyfriend is wearing is his. “Yun po ‘yung paglilinaw. At ang daming positive (comments) na sobra silang excited, sobra silang happy for LizQuen, so ibig sabihin Loi ay lahat naman talaga ay rooting for Quen and rooting for Liza sa isa’t isa, di ba? Hindi naman natin maiaalis ‘yun at kahit ako hindi ko ma-imagine si Liza na mapupunta sa iba or magkakagusto sa iba,” Ogie Diaz said.
He added that he knows that the young couple still has many goals that they want to achieve first before settling down. Ogie also said that the young couple should not make him feel nervous regarding this kind of matter because he knows how they love each other.
