Son of Cherry Pie Picache says he has nothing against his mother’s romance with Edu Manzano.
CHERRY PIE PICACHE – Veteran actors Cherry Pie Picache and Edu Manzano are in a relationship and this is what the actress’ son said about this.
Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache are officially in a relationship. They went public about this last November and they received nothing but overwhelming support for their newfound love with each other. Cherry Pie, in a previous article, said this about romance, “I’m not yet ready to talk about it. Life is short, so go-go lang sa love life. If it works, thank you. If not, move on.”
Edu’s son, the in-demand host Luis Manzano, was also shocked when they have finally announced their relationship but he’s not completely shocked about it, he just didn’t see it coming. Before the announcement, they already know the special connection between these two screen veterans.
And just recently, son of Picache with her former husband Gary Tria, 19-year-old Nio Tria, also expressed his reaction about it. Nio shared his feelings over her mother’s new love during a virtual media conference for “Saying Goodbye”, an upcoming series where he is one of the casts.
Picache and Tria separated last 2006, and being in a relationship now with Manzano, 66, Nio aired his happiness for his mother. He believes that she deserves to be happy. He wasn’t shocked at all when their relationship finally made it on the news. He said, “Siyempre, alam ko na before pa na pinupuntahan ni Tito Edu ‘yung mom ko, so nami-meet ko na siya. I get to interact with him, talk to him as well.”
He also added “Boto naman po”, when asked if Edu got his approval. Meanwhile, as a newbie in the industry and being the son of one of the best drama actresses in the industry, he admitted the pressure he’s feeling. He tries hard to look at the pressure as a motivation to do his best in the field.
Nio is also looking forward to being working with his mother in the future based on a report from ABS-CBN.
