Luis Manzano was asked about the newfound love of his father
Actor-host Luis Manzano shared his reaction to the relationship between his father seasoned actor Edu Manzano and award-winning actress Cherry Pie Picache.
The world of showbiz was surprised when sweet photos of Edu and Cherry Pie circulated on social media. From that, many were asking about the real score between them. Eventually, the seasoned actor confirmed that he and his Marry Me, Marry You co-star are indeed dating.
During a recent interview on the YouTube channel of G3 San Diego, Luis Manzano, along with his wife actress Jessy Mendiola, was asked about his reaction to the relationship of his father with his Tita Pie. The actor-host said that he did not see this coming.
“Sobrang we were caught off guard. No one saw it coming. I don’t even think Dad and Tita Pie saw it coming,” Luis said. Jessy also said that they were “really shocked” upon knowing about this. Luis also shared how he found out about it. He said that his friend who was with Edu and Cherry Pie during their apparent “date night” took a photo of the couple and sent it to Luis.
The actor-host sent the photo to his father saying, “Daddy, happy boy ka.” Edu replied with, “Yes anak happy.” Luis said that he can see how happy his father is with his new relationship as he shared the love advice he got from his seasoned actor.
“It would boil down to the same thing, kung paano niya nirerespeto ang kanyang kasama. That’s one thing na nakikita ko kay Daddy,” Luis Manzano said.
Meanwhile, when Cherry Pie was asked about her newfound love with Edu, she just said that they are both happy and that she is not ready yet to share the details with the public. However, love is indeed blooming between them as the seasoned actress shared their sweet photos just recently.
