It has been three years already but Philippines’ Catriona Gray has really set the bar higher when it comes to being a Miss Universe queen. Many people could not deny that she is indeed one of the best queens the pageant has ever had. She came prepared, she came with the whole country with her, and she came to win.
One of her marks during her reign is her slow and playful twist in her pasarela but the most amazing about her being a queen is her sincerity. She’s sincere about incorporating the things that symbolize the country in her costumes and she is sincere in her answers during the Q and A portion as she really knows what is happening. She is the fourth Miss Universe from the Philippines. She was crowned in Bangkok, Thailand on Dec. 17, 2018.
And for this year, she is celebrating her third anniversary Miss Universe winner. And making her 3rd “Crown-versary”, she posted some photos during her reign, snaps that are posted for the first time. In the caption, she thinks it’s crazy how fast three years passed after she won and how three years ago, her dreams came true.
“Crazy to think that 3 years ago today my dreams came true. And I’m[infinitely] proud to have represented and brought pride to my country. To celebrate I’m sharing never seen before snaps from my MU journey. Enjoy,” she said. She also recalled how much things have changed since her reign ended.
She’s aware of how the pandemic has affected the plans and dreams of everyone. But in her message, she remained positive and encouraging to people. Cat reminded her readers, “Behind every hindrance is an opportunity. Behind every closed door, is one that is set aside, just for you, waiting to be opened. Behind every perceived denial, is a redirection. In God’s perfect time, dreams come true. Please, just never, ever give up in the pursuit of your purpose.”
