Angelica Panganiban talked about her The Kangks Show co-star
Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban shared her experience working with actress-singer Maris Racal in The Kangks Show series by director-writer Antoinette Jadaone.
In a previous interview, Maris revealed that she immediately accepted this “unconventional role” and somehow she realized that she has the same view with her character when it comes to intimacy in relationships.
In a recent interview by ABS-CBN reporter Miguel Dumaual, Angelica Panganiban was asked how it was like working with Maris Racal. The older actress said that it has always been a wonderful experience for her to work with artists who are “hungry”, hungry to learn, and hungry to prove their talent.
Angelica also said that it is a good thing to see where she started years ago through her younger co-stars. It was also an inspiring experience for her. “Parang, ang galing nila, no? Ang fresh pa ng mga isip nila, ang galing nilang maka-memorize, ang balingkinitan nila,” she said.
Then, Angelica quipped, “Puro inggit ang naramdaman ko actually kay Maris (laughs).” She also appreciated seeing the younger generation really doing their best and do not just settle for “okay”. She also saw that they really want to improve their crafts.
Angelica Panganiban also admitted that she learned from Maris Racal as every take the latter would do different things. “Sanay kasi ako na take one, ito ang binigay ko, take two, ito na rin,” she said with a laugh. The older actress also said that Maris is “masipag”.
In the same interview, Angelica also shared that she cut short her vacation upon knowing the concept of this movie even though she has not read the script yet.
