Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera shared her thoughts on being one of the members of the selection committee of Miss Universe 2021.

Aside from the fact that Miss Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez did a good job in the 70th edition of the most prestigious pageant in the world, Pinoy fans are also proud of Marian for being one of the judges this year.

Previously, it was revealed that the Miss Universe Organization handpicked the Kapuso star to be part of the selection committee. Indeed, this will be an important part of the pageant history in the Philippines.

After that stint, Marian Rivera shared a post on her Instagram post expressing how honored she is for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She said that this is an unforgettable event in her life.

“Honored to be part of the 70th @missuniverse selection committee. Truly a great experience I’ll never forget. Thank you for the wonderful time ladies and congratulations to all of you,” she wrote.

Marian also thanked her team for joining her in this wonderful journey and she is looking forward to having more opportunities to make wonderful memories with them. The actress-host also thanked famous Filipino designer Francis Libiran for creating a beautiful gown for her despite that it had to be rushed.

In the comment section of her post, several netizens and celebrities expressed how proud they are of Marian. One of the celebrities who commented was actress-host Kris Aquino who happens to be her and Dingdong Dantes’ “ninang”.

Kris said that the beauty and grace of the Kapuso star “brought further glory to our country.” “And may i say i totally loved the colors of your gown. Merry Christmas to you & Dong, my inaanaks!” the former presidential daughter added. Marian Rivera replied to this with, “salamat ninang.”
