Marian Rivera is one of the judges in the Miss Universe 2021 pageant
This is how the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) invited Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera to be one of the judges in this year’s pageant.
It is indeed an honor for Marian to be part of the panel that will choose the next queen. Despite the fact that it will be an honor for the Philippines as well as a Filipina will be one of the judges, there were still those who are badmouthing the actress.
Nevertheless, Marian is so happy that she got the invitation from the organizers of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. In a recent interview, the wife of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes was asked if show she got the invitation.
Direk Mike Tuviera, the CEO of Triple A, the agency handling Marian Rivera’s character was the one who answered the said question. The CEO said that it was Jenny Ferre, the creative head of Eat Bulaga, was the one who told him that Miss Universe is inviting Marian, based on the article in PEP.
It is just so happened that creative is close to the producer of the MUO. “And they were going through Ms. Jenny para ma-invite si Marian. So, kailangan ko munang tawagan si Marian at tanungin kung interesado siya at kung gusto niyang maging judge o selection committee for Miss Universe,” the CEO of the talent agency shared.
When Marian Rivera said “yes” to the invitation, the organization made a background check and Direk Mike also said that the Kapuso actress was handpicked.
As of this writing, it is not confirmed whether Marian Rivera will be part of the pre-pageant section committee or on the coronation night. The Miss Universe Organization has not given Marian the final list of the things that she will do but definitely, she will attend the coronation night.
