Cops Arrest Lady Suspect For Allegedly Stealing Company’s Money
The police authorities arrested a lady suspect is facing qualified theft charges for allegedly stealing the income of her company.
Pandacan Police has served an arrest warrant and arrested a female suspect named Mildred Nepomuceno over charges of qualified theft. The woman did not remit the money entrusted to her.
The incident reportedly happened last October 2019. The suspect allegedly stole the P75, 000, which was meant for the payment of her employer’s sibling and even run away with P160, 000 for the pay roll of workers.
“According sa kanya nagulat na lang daw siya na sinampahan siya ng kaso e, binigay naman niya yung pera sa amo niya nagulat na lang siya , kumbaga itinatanggi niya yung mga akusasyon laban sa kanya,” Deputy Station Commander of Pandacan police Pmaj, Geo Colibao.
Nepomuceno lost her job as a liaison officer at the construction company due to the incident. Mildred also denied the accusations against her and explained that she could steal large amount of cash but she did not do it.
“Hindi naman po ako ang nagnakaw sa kanila kasi kung ako magnanakaw dapat hindi lang yung P160 na yun kasi marami naman akong winiwithdraw sa kanila milyon-milyon pa nga po e, di dapat kung ako magnanakaw naging mas malaki pa yung nanakawin ko hindi naman po e,” Nepomuceno said.
The suspect is about to resign from the company but the firm filed charges against her. She is supposed to get a separation pay from the company.
