Manny Pacquiao Apologized for the Heavy Traffic Due to His Motorcade in Quezon City

Presidential candidate Manny Pacquiao has apologized to the public after his motorcade in Quezon City brought traffic congestion.

Senator Aquino apologized to the public, particularly motorists and municipal officials who were stranded in Quezon City traffic as a result of the motorcade he organized. Pacquiao said that he sought authorization from the local authorities, namely Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, for the motorcade.

Pacquiao claimed that he did not expect many people to keep up with his convoy. The flow of traffic was controlled by an estimated 100 police officers, based on the report.

After his motorcade and news conference, where he was surrounded by thousands of supporters, Pacquiao paid a courtesy trip to the barangay authorities of the vote-rich Batasan Hills, led by Punong Barangay Jojo Abad. From Batasan, Paccquiao proceed at Brgy. Payatas, which is another highly populated barrio in Quezon City.

Pacquiao addressed the villagers who had waited for hours to see their idol, accompanied by barangay captain Manny Guarin. Pacquiao encouraged the people of Payatas to follow their aspirations and not to give up hope in the face of adversities and seemingly insurmountable challenges.

He delivered his anti-poverty master plan to the large assembly, which covered job creation, housing, food security, and universal education. According to the boxing legend, if the government is not corrupt, it will be able to fully meet the requirements of the people and provide them with a respectable and comfortable living. Pacquiao and the 1Pacman party-list, lead by Rep. Eric Pineda, also came by the MRB Compound on Commonwealth Avenue for a gift-giving activity.
