PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (December 7)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area and the northeast monsoon would bring rains over some parts of the country.
On Tuesday (December 7, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The low-pressure area and the northeast monsoon will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted at 1,055 kilometers east of Mindanao. It has a slim chance of developing into a tropical storm and expected to dissipate within 24-48 hours.
“Itong LPA po na ‘to, mababa po ng tsansa na maging isang bagyo, at inaasahan din natin na matutunaw po within 24 to 48 hours,” weather forecaster Ana Clauren said.
The shear line will be affecting eastern section of Mindanao while the Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.
The LPA/Shear Line will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern Samar and Eastern Visayas.
The northeast monsoon would bring similar weather condition over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Ifugao, Mt. Province and Benguet.
Amihan would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated light rains over rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro, Bicol region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan will experience similar weather conditions.
The weather agency has also raised a gale warning over seaboards of northern Luzon, eastern seaboard of Central Luzon, eastern seaboard of southern Luzon, eastern seaboard of Visayas, and eastern seaboard of Mindanao.
“Kaya po hindi po muna natin pinapayagang pumalaot diyan ‘yung mga kababayan po nating mangingisda pati ‘yung may maliliit na sasakyang pandagat,” PAGASA said.
