Marian Rivera would be very much happy meeting Gal Gadot
Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot is one of the international celebrities who captured the heart of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
The wife of actor-host Dingdong Dantes is a star in her own right as she has a remarkable career in showbiz. She did hit teleseryes and movies that boosted her star status over the years.
Now, she is set to add another feather to her cap as she is named as one of the members of the selection committee of the 70th edition of Miss Universe. Following the confirmation that Marian Rivera will be a judge in the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world, she received a lot of congratulatory messages.
However, there were those who criticized her and questioned her credibility to judge just by basing on how she speaks in English. Marian Rivera clapped back at the critics with all honesty and grace.
Before flying to Israel where the Miss Universe 2021 pageant will be held, Marian faced the media people regarding this stint. She shared that during the interview, based on the article in PEP that she really wants to meet Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot who was hailed as Miss Israel in 2004 and represented her country that year in the 53rd Miss Universe pageant.
“Sobrang wish kong makilala si Gal Gadot. Sana mami-meet ko siya. Gusto ko talaga makilala at makita si Gal Gadot. Sana mabigyan ako ng chance,” she said. It is known to many that Marian also played a superhero role on a Kapuso TV series in 2009.
However, Gal is now living in Los Angeles with her family even though she still has a house in Tel Aviv.
The Hollywood actress has no invitation as well to be part of this year’s Miss Universe pageant. It appeared that Marian Rivera has to cross her finger for the possibility to meet her favorite international celebrity in Israel.
