Vicki Belo Shares Why She's Not Spoiling Scarlet With Material Things

This is the reason why Vicki Belo chooses not to give in to anything her daughter asks her to buy.

VICKI BELO – Famous doctor for celebrities Dra. Vicki Belo shares why she is not spoiling Scarlet Snow with everything that she likes.

Scarlet Snow Belo is the youngest and only child of Dra. Vicki Belo with her husband Hayden Kho. At such a young age she became a celebrity endorser and social media personality with a significant following on Instagram. She was conceived through in vitro fertilization. A Mexican-American surrogate mother in the U.S. gave birth to her in March 2015.

Hayden was accordingly the one who gave her the name Scarlet Snow taken from the Bible verse Isaiah 1:18: “Though your sins be red as scarlet, I shall make them white as snow.” It reflects his transformation following a highly-publicized issue he went through in 2009. And Scarlet is his lifelong inspiration. Her existence has completely changed him and brought him “closer to being the kind of man” God has always wanted him to be.

And part of Scarlet’s growth is learning that she cannot buy anything that she wants in a snap despite the fact that her parents can provide her with anything material. For an instance, Vicki shared in an interview that they were in this luxury store in Paris when she pointed multiple things that she wants.

She saw this one scarf with an animal print and ask her mother to buy it. Vicki, on her part, since it was just one, gave in to her request. But on the second one that she pointed, she made it clear to her that she can only have one because their money won’t make it if she gets two items.

Being an incredible kid, what she accordingly just did is to run to her father and say that she’ll just not look around anymore because she doesn’t have the money to buy all the things that she wants. If they really want to, they can definitely give in her to any requests she wants.

But being an only child and spoiled with many things, Vicki clearly knows what the consequences will be the reason why she’s putting much effort to stop herself from giving her everything. She shared, “Nahirapan ako in life in the future kasi I thought I was lovable kasi my parents love me so much. When you meet the world and the world doesn’t love you.”

She added, “With Scarlet, ayokong ibigay lahat kasi hindi nakakatulong talaga. Kung feeling ko lang makakatulong sa future niya at magiging happier person siya, I would do it.”
