Here’s the first teaser of The Broken Marriage Vow that excited many people.
BROKEN MARRIAGE VOW – People online get excited after the first teaser of the much-awaited The Broken Marriage Vow has been released.
South Korea’s record-breaking series The World of a Married Couple and originally BBC’s hit Doctor Foster series is finally having a Filipino adaptation under ABS-CBN entertainment. “Glorious” (2018) and “Malaya” (2020) director Concepcion Macatuno will be the one to direct the adaptation. Other countries like France, Russia, Turkey, and India also have their own adaptation.
The actors playing as the main characters in the adaptation are:
- Jodi Sta. Maria as Dr. Jill Ilustre (Dr. Gemma Foster in the original)
- Zanjoe Marudo as David Ilustre (Simon Foster in the original)
- Sue Ramirez as Lexy Lucero (Kate Parks in the original)
- Zaijian Jaranilla as Gio Ilustre (Tom Foster in the original)
In a previous article, many people gets excited after Jodi was announced as the one who will play the wife namely Dr. Gemma Foster or Dr. Ji Sun-woo. For Sue, she is really happy about this as this is her biggest yet. She said in a statement, “It’s a big, big project. When they told me, I broke down crying, because I really couldn’t believe na ako ‘yung napili nila for this role!”
And just recently, the first teaser has been dropped. It’s seen Dr. Jill Ilustre asking her husband David “May babae ka ba?” in the first teaser of ABS-CBN’s highly anticipated drama. The teaser also showed the iconic secret holding hands of the husband and the mistress amid the crowd.

Meanwhile, new actor Jake Ejercito will be joining the cast and his role is yet to be revealed.
