Is there something wrong with the birthday “salubong” for Sue Ramirez?

Friends of actress Sue Ramirez had a birthday salubong for her and a TV host commented, “parang may mali”.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the normal gathering has become impossible or difficult to happen. Most of the gatherings now are happening online. Apparently, based on the article from Bandera, this concern was brought up by a TV host who sent a video to columnist Reggee Bonoan.

The unnamed TV host said, “Alam mo, tuwang-tuwa ako sa dalawang ito (Sue at Kristel) pero ngayon may mali. Baka gayahin sila ng iba. Si KC Montero nga hinuli eh, di ba?

Sue’s friend Kristel Fulgar uploaded the video of their pajama party on YouTube and Instagram. Their high school friends were invited.

“Kahit pa iilan lang yan, kung galing sila sa ibat ibang bahay, hindi mo alam kung ano ang meron in each homes. Covid knows no one. Kaya hindi nagpa-flatten ang curve dahil sa mga ganito eh,” the host commented regarding the party.

When the point was brought up that gatherings are allowed with 10 or less participants are allowed, the TV host reasoned out that there was no physical distancing and they were not wearing masks.

Based on the article, Kristel was already wearing a pajama when she went to Trinoma to get the cake for Sue and she was wearing the same outfit during the party.

It can be seen also in the video that those who were at the party took a bunch of photos together as they were very close to each other.

Because of this, the question arises: “Nagpa-rapid test kaya sina Sue at Kristel pati na ang mga kaibigan nila para masabing safe silang magdikit-dikit pati na rin ang kani-kanilang pamilya?”
