Sanya Lopez talks about this aspect of her personality
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez said that she is “manhid” and she shared the reason why she calls herself this way.
Sanya is now one of the primetime stars of GMA-7. The success of her series First Yaya definitely boosted her career and this did not stop there as the primetime teleserye is confirmed to have its Book 2 that is titled First Lady.
Before that new series starts, Sanya is set to star in my Oh My Oppa! edition of the Kapuso fantasy anthology Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko. During a recent virtual conference for this new project of Sanya Lopez, she shared that most of the time, she is not aware of the guy’s real intention towards her, based on the article in Inquirer.
“I can’t really tell if a guy likes me. Minsan, may pagka-manhid din ako and I don’t realize that he’s already trying to court me,” the actress said adding that it is hard to assume that the guy has feelings for her because it might not be the reality and it is just her perception.
The Kapuso star also said that she gets closed to a guy, most of the time, she activates the “tropa” mode. At times, a guy would act sweet towards her but still, she won’t realize that he means more than friendship unless that guy would tell her directly.
“Maybe just let me know? Pwede ba ‘yun? It’s better to be sure,” she said in jest. Meanwhile, Sanya Lopez shared that she has no particular preference when it comes to a guy. On the other hand, she mentioned her “type” and he is someone with rugged, action star-like look.
For the actress, a person may enter her life who is so different from her “type” but when love knocks those standards and preferences are not important anymore.
