It was the Bad Boy of Philippine showbiz Robin Padilla who disclosed to the public that his daughter Kylie Padilla and actor Aljur Abrenica are no longer together. His revelation shocked many people.

Aljur and Kylie agreed on co-parenting set-up following their split. The actor became a target of criticism over his blooming romance with AJ Raval. The young actress later clarified that she was never the third party.

Last month, Aljur Abrenica claimed that it was Kylie Padilla who cheated first. The Kapuso actress denied this saying it would be hard for her to admit something she didn’t do.

In a conversation that the actress has never had with her dad, she gave him a chance to ask whatever it is he wanted to ask her. The prominent actor, without mentioning anyone’s name asked her: “So, wala na talagang pag-asa?”

“No, no. It’s best for what it is now,” she replied.

“Kasi tinitingnan ko rin, in the future, maging friends kami talaga. Ngayon kasi, siyempre, after ng nangyari, we’re friends, but there’s a distance. Dumidistansya na ‘ko kasi siyempre, nagulat ako. Pero bilang nanay ng mga anak ko, I have to be civil, try to be the better person, mas mature na tao. Naging klaro lang kung nasaan yung priorities niya.”
