KYLIE PADILLA – Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla has this honest answer when Robin Padilla asked something involving Aljur Abrenica.
In a conversation that Kylie Padilla has never had with her father Robin Padilla, she gave him a chance to ask whatever it is that he wanted to ask her. And grabbing that chance, the veteran action star, without mentioning anyone’s name but with an obvious hint as to who he is referring to, asked her: “So, wala na talagang pag-asa?”
To recall, it was Robin who disclosed to the public that she and Aljur Abrenica are no longer together which shocked many people. He also in his revelations that he cheated on her but Aljur refuted the cheating part and redirected it to Kylie. Aljur’s statement accused that it was Kylie who cheated first but in an interview, Kylie clarified that while they are still together, she never had any extramarital affair.
Opening up to her father as seen in her latest vlog, she said to him that she is now okay and that she and the actor are finally okay again. And being okay with each other is what matters most to her because it is essential for the sake of their kids. When asked if it is still painful, she just answered that the hardest part is losing the chance of seeing him again playing with their boys. These kinds of moments are moments she treasured the most.
“Pero kung titingnan ko as a whole, mas maganda yung nangyari ngayon kasi hindi na kami toxic. Mahapdi sa aking puso na hindi ko na yun makikita, nae-enjoy in that way na buo kami. Mas happy na ako ngayon, realistically, kasi after ng mga nangyari, hindi na ako makakabalik doon, e, sa kung paano ako before. Masyado nang maraming nangyari,” she said.
And for her, there’s not a chance anymore for reconciliation as she sees what they have now served them best – which is better than when they were still a couple. She revealed they’re friends but there’s a distance. There’s a line drawn in between because they know that the friendship was meant for their children.
