Newly-Promoted Man Dies of Vehicular Accident After Hitting Van in La Union

A newly-promoted man working as a bartender passes away after his motorcycle hits a van in Balaoan, La Union.

Nowadays, road accident has become one of the major traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions across the globe. It results to damage to properties and injuries to involved individuals.

The authorities advised the motorists and vehicle driver to take precautionary measures along the road to avoid accidents.

A 25-year-old bartender identified as George Iry Aragon died after he got into a vehicular accident. His motorcycle accidentally hits the van along Balaoan, La Union on his way home after his shift.

According to the Balaoan Police station chief Pmaj. Lawrence Ganuelas, the victim might be tired and exhausted from his job when the incident happened. The latter suffers serious wounds and injuries due to the collision.

“Had on collision sila on the spot kaya napakalami ng impact saka damage noong namatay,” Ganuelas said.

The victim’s relative narrated that Aragon get a little bit late to go home after the company management urged him to report to the office for promotion. The family is currently grieving and devastated due to the untimely death of their loved one.

The family would not file a case against the van driver and expressed their desire to give George a peaceful funeral and burial.

“Bale hindi na lang, Kasi yung kapatid ko kilala ko ‘yon, ayaw niya ng mga ganun, ang gusto niya [ma-settle] kaagad,” victim’s brother Mark Allan said.
