Cement Mixer Accidentally Hits Electrical Pole & Causes Road Accident
A cement mixer accidentally hits the cable of a utility pole, which causes a road accident along Buendia in Makati City.
A cement mixer passing along Buendia Street in Makati City accidentally hits the cable of an electrical pole. The pole sparked and quickly burned before hitting a vehicle. The pole causes severe damage and burned the car.
Luckily, the car driver was able to get out of the vehicle before the explosion. The driver has also expressed his gratefulness for surviving a tragic accident, which could possibly take his life in an instant.
“Di bale sasakyan basta ikaw ligtas kasi kung mabilis bilis takbo ko, pwedeng banda roon tatami yung poste sa ulo ko tapos yung windshield babasag e. Pumasok ang poste sa loob eh, tapos pwede ako mahimatay e,” the survivor said.
The mixer suffered no damage after it accidentally hits the pole. Meralco employees also arrived to remove the pole from the vehicle and clear the road from electrical cables. The cement mixer driver Danny Ulaa is not expecting to hit the post in his regular route.
“Kumbaga yun na lang wag na lang masyado magtiwala kapag ganito, pang limang byahe ko na ngayon dito yun e, kaya tiwala ako na yung takbo ko mabagal lang naman eh, habang ako’y natakbo nagsigawan na yung mga tao kaya tumigil ako tapos may namumutok na ayun may nasabitan ako,” Ulaa said.

The area experienced a 30-minute interruption due to the incident to give way for the repair.
