Firetruck is a road vehicle that functions as a firefighting apparatus, which transports firefighters and water. This vehicle usually carries equipment as they respond to firefighting operations and fire emergencies.
Most of fire engines are based on commercial vehicle chassis that are further upgraded and customized for firefighting requirements. It has sirens and emergency lighting as well as communication equipment.
Motorists along the road are instructed to give priority to emergency vehicles such as VIP cars, police patrol car, ambulance and firetrucks, which are tasked to play a very important role during cases of emergency.
Recently, the Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of collision between two firetrucks at a road intersection. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the two vehicles were moving fast to respond in an emergency. However, the trucks collided at each other while passing at the road intersection. The two stopped after the incident.
