This happened before Nadine Lustre got the role in her first movie
Boss Vic del Rosario of Viva Entertainment revealed this about actress-singer Nadine Lustre before she did her first movie Diary Ng Panget.
Nadine started her career in the entertainment industry when she was 15 years old. Before becoming an award-winning actress, she was part of the group Pop Girls that Viva launched more than a decade ago.
The said group was composed of five girls but Boss Vic revealed in an interview by PEP that he was already anticipating that Nadine Lustre will make it big in the movie scene.
When asked if Nadine is one of the most talented artists of Viva, the star maker said, “I think, yeah, oo. Because dun sa Pop Girls, when I started handling mga limang singers namin, I was eyeing her to be our ano, e, in the movies,” he said.
Then, Boss Vic revealed that when they were planning for the movie Diary Ng Panget in 2014, his choice to be the lead actress was Nadine.
“Namimili kami ng artista. Everybody, iba yung choice nila, ako lang siguro talagang gustung-gusto ko siya,” the Viva’s Boss revealed. That choice that he made resulted in an overwhelming success.
“The result of the box office proved I was right. So, we hit the jackpot, and JaDine became one of the hottest ano [love team],” he said.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, Boss Vic shared that he and Nadine Lustre had a constant communication amid the legal issues between them regarding the contract of the actress with Viva.
Early this month, the legal counsel of the actress released a statement saying that discussions have been done between the two parties and they are leading to a settlement.
