NADINE LUSTRE – Actress and singer Nadine Lustre has this when asked about having someone new in her life now after split with James Reid.
Kapamilya stars James Reid and Nadine Lustre announced split last January 2020 putting an end to all the rumors that have been circulating then. In a joint statement they issued, they stated that they remained to be good friends and reveals that they wanted to seek personal growth as one of the reasons why they have to end it.
However, even after the split, they were spotted together on several occasions and sightings sparking rekindled romance. But just this March, Nadine refuted rumors that they got back together sharing that she’s still healing from their breakup. To date, Reid and Lustre are known to still have a close relationship.
And now, more than a year after their apparent split, has Nadine found herself someone new to date? In her interview with Boy Abunda, she honestly revealed that she’s currently not dating anyone and it’s not on her list of priority as of now. She wanted to focus on her career and that is all she’s been doing.
The 27-year-old star said, “I’m definitely not seeing anyone. I’m so busy, Tito Boy. I have no time. Plus, I really told myself I’m just going to work on myself.”
Meanwhile, when asked about the current relationship status with James, she expressed a vague answer. “It is what it is,” she said because to her, “attachments and ownerships” do not exist anymore. She and her ex-boyfriend are just always there for each other. She even shared that she wouldn’t surely do much amid legal battles versus VIVA if he was not there.
She added in the interview, “But yeah, we’re just super happy. We’re supporting each other, we’re pushing each other. And I think wala nang better answer than that eh. Like obviously, he’s contributing to my growth and in some way, I am with him as well. And so, that’s the only thing that matters.”
