Here is the list of MMFF 2021 official entries, the official movies included as announced by the organization.
MMFF 2021 OFFICIAL ENTRIES – These are the eight (8) official movies that are included in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) finally revealed on Friday the eight official entries in this year’s comeback edition of this film festival. To recall, because of the pandemic, the moviegoers were not able to watch the movie of their choice in the actual cinema. The movies became available online and despite the major changes, they were still able to pull it off.
And two years after hibernating, the MMFF aims to give back to those people who invested in this year’s festival. Everyone, including the producers, artists, and the people behind the films, gambled for the sake of movie making and for the movie industry.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. said, “All of us here right now, yung mga entries, tumaya ng husto sa mga pelikula. ‘Yung mga artista talagang gumanap ng husto without knowing na matutuloy ang pelikula. That is why in behalf of MMDA, ibabalik namin ang suporta sa inyo.”
And now, here are the eight films officially selected to be a part of this year’s MMFF out of 19 films that have been submitted:
