Drunk Son Sets Own House in Fire in Cagayan with His Father Inside
Unscrupulous drunk son reportedly sets their own house on fire and allegedly planned to include their own father in the fire in Cagayan.
A family in Tuguegarao, Cagayan was rescued with almost nothing when their house caught fire. The arsonist is supposed to be the inebriated son, who is constantly at war with his father.

In a live stream, the victims’ home in Barangay Buntun is seen being consumed by fire. A woman can be heard pleading to assist them to phone the fire brigade to put out the fire in their blazing house in a video recorded by May-Ann Bermejo.
According to Bermejo, who was a boarder in the burned house, the owner’s son, Randy Catolos, 24, was responsible for the fire. Catolos and his father apparently had a drink with a buddy before the event.
While drinking, the suspect’s mother advised him to quit drinking because he was in trouble. Catolos learned that his father was going to burn him when the drinking was finished and he was asleep.
The suspect is accused of purchasing gasoline, which caused the house to catch fire. The occupants, including Catolos’ father, were fortunate enough to be able to flee the house right away.
However, due to the rapid spread of the fire, the family lost practically everything. The father and son always quarrel when they are drunk, according to the barangay head.
After setting fire to their home, the suspect fled. The victims, on the other hand, are pleading for assistance because they rely on trading to support their families.
