Here’s what Cristy Fermin and Lolit Solis said about the McLisse parenthood announcement
Veteran showbiz reporter/writer Cristy Fermin and Lolit Solis reacted to the baby reveal of celebrity couple Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon after netizens questioned their “Marites” power.
The two seasoned entertainment personalities are among the popular showbiz commentators on social media nowadays as everything opted to go online. They have a digital talk show with Mr. Fu titled Take It Per Minute Me Ganun!
Lolit also shares showbiz write-ups on her Instagram account, aside from her columns in Pilipino Star Ngayon. Cristy, on the other hand, still has her showbiz program Cristy Per Minute.
Their names also become trending topics on social media once in a while because of what they say about certain celebrities. However, netizens appeared to be mocking them when they haven’t said anything about McLisse’s baby.
The celebrity couple surprised everyone when they revealed on Pinoy Big Brother that they are now parents to a baby girl named Felize. In a recent IG post of Lolit, she reacted to this.
She said that she laughed at the comments of netizens who said that her radar did work on McLisse as she wasn’t able to hear about Elisse’s pregnancy. Lolit also pointed out the varying comments from netizens when she writes about something or does not write about it.
“Pag hindi mo sinulat, mahina kang klase ng reporter. Kaya nga ayoko ko ng take seriously iyon mga comments. Pero meron magalang at constructive na talagang grateful ako dahil dagdag knowledge din sa iyo na mabasa ang comment nila,” the veteran writer said.
In Lolit’s post, she also congratulated the celebrity couple for having their bundle of joy. Meanwhile, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Cristy Fermin also shared her reaction during a recent episode of her showbiz talk show.
She commended the couple for keeping this aspect of their life private and cited that when Elisse and McCoy had a problem in their relationship, they dealt and resolved it privately as well.
“Tingnan mo, ang ganda-ganda ng kanilang pasabog na ito. Meron na silang baby girl at ito ay sila mismo ang nagbunyag nito dahil kinukuha nilang maging ninong ng kanilang anak si Direk Lauren Dyogi, di ba? Sa ‘PBB,’” the showbiz reporter said.
