Netizens commented about the “Marites” power of veteran showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin after celebrity couple Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon surprised the showbiz industry with their first baby.
The term or name “Marites” has been associated with those who love to gossip about the lives of other people, especially if it is about celebrities. Just recently, actress-singer Nadine Lustre posted about this also after she received fierce words from Cristy.
However, netizens mentioned that Cristy apparently had no idea about the pregnancy of Elisse Joson and that she had already given birth to her first child with McCoy de Leon.
Through the current celebrity edition of the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, the couple revealed that they now have a child. They even asked Big Brother if he could be a “ninong” to their kid.
This revelation of McCoy and Elisse brought various reactions on social media. There were those who expressed that they are really surprised as they did not see it coming. Many netizens congratulated the couple for their bundle of joy.
On the other hand, there were netizens who wrote the name of Cristy Fermin in their comment on this good news from the celebrity couple. They said that the veteran showbiz reporter had no idea about this.
Twitter user @supergrey said that Cristy is “walang kwentang chismoso” because she was not able to hear about Elise’s pregnancy while Twitter user @jorielf1 said that she is waiting for the “banat” of the showbiz reporter about this.
Based on the social media post of Kapamilya Online World, a netizen also took notice Cristy Fermin has not said anything about Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon’s baby.
