Actual Video of LTO-6 Official Violating Traffic Policy Elicits Comments Online

LTO-6 official Arturo Apolinar has been allegedly caught on camera while violating the traffic rules and regulations.

Traffic enforcers and authorities are primarily tasked to secure the flow of traffic and safety of Filipino motorists across the country. They were tasked to implement the traffic policy and apprehend violators.

However, these road officers should obey the traffic policy first and set as a good example to the public.

The Facebook page “Iloilo Metropolitan Times” has shared the video footage of an official of the Land Transportation Office who violated the traffic rules. The actual video garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that a black SUV beats the red light and just passed across the pedestrian lane although it was not yet his turn. A motorcycle rider go with the flow together with the black vehicle.

A red vehicle stopped before the pedestrian lane to show its respect and compliance to the traffic policy. Other motorists followed the black SUV, which is allegedly owned by a high ranking LTO official.

According to the page, the official has been identified as LTO-6 Assistant to the Regional Director Arturo Apolinar. The officer clearly violated the traffic regulation although he is the one who should obey it first.

However, it was still unclear if the car violated the traffic rules because the lights and signs could not be seen in the video.
