In a previous article, newly-married couple Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez’s wedding video has earned various comments with netizens gushing about how sincere, simple yet elegant, heartwarming, and beautiful is the whole event. The wedding was held on October 23, 2021, at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas.
The Kapuso couple have been together for seven years before they tied the knot at the mentioned Spanish-colonial era church. What’s special about the whole event included the true emotions of the couple and the real and overwhelming love that they have for each other. It was a traditional wedding but the bride shone the brightest wearing her Monique Lhuillier gown which highlighted her mestiza features. She even got emotional previously because she was allowed by her network to pick up her wedding personally in New York.
Celebrity make-up artist Juan Sarte did her make-up and the shades were not overdone. She had the “morning bride” beauty look where the strokes were soft and the colors used to her face were neutral that highlighted her natural beauty. Her hair was in half in a fixed low-bun. Meanwhile, Tom was dashing in his Francis Libiran suit and he’s thankful for his “Avengers Team” for giving him the look and making him feel worthy for his beautiful bride.
Famous event stylist Gideon Hermosa gave the church a lush, soft, and heavenly vibe by filling the aisle with bunches of white-and-green blooms. On either side of the aisle under the tiny white blooms are lanterns that lighted her path to Tom who was waiting for her in the altar. The warm light from the lanterns added warmth and grandness to the entrance of the bride. Her parents Rey “PJ” Abellana and Aurea Reyes brought her to him.
The bride’s maids are Grachel Arlene Navarro, Macy Zozobrado, Libay de Guzman, Iya Villania, and Jewel Sunga while the groom’s men are Billy James Cash, JC Tiuseco, Sid Lucero, Rafael Rosell, and the actor’s long-time assistant Arnil Derotas, among many others. Jasmine Curtis Smith, Rocco Nacino, Alyana Asistio, Christian Bautista, Kelley Day, Erin Ocampo, and Valeen Montenegro are also present.
