Family Mourns After Truck Hits Carpenter Dad While Picking Up His “Lagari”
A carpenter in Davao City passed away after he was struck by a dump truck while picking up the “Hand Saw” he dropped.
Dapiton family is calling anyone who found the “hand saw” of the 66-year-old carpenter Mario Dapiton who passed away after he was accidentally hit by a truck. The family said that it was the only “Memento” they have from the latter.
Tatay Mario is using his humble bicycle to go to his job and when returning to their house. The hardworking senior citizen is carrying his tools and equipment for work on his bike.

The elderly carpenter is on his way home when he dropped his “Lagari” along Ulas Bypass Road in Davao City. He stopped and tried to turn to pick up his tool but he was struck by a truck.
Mario is sentimental when it comes to his possessions especially to his 20-year-old “lagari”. However, his construction tool becomes the reason of his untimely death.
The latter’s entire family is currently grieving due to the incident. The family wishes to recover the lost “Lagari”, which will be their only remembrance for their responsible father.
The family of the truck driver and Tatay Mario have already settled an agreement regarding the matter. The driver’s family would shoulder the expenses for Dapiton’s funeral and burial.
