Carpenter Dad Skills Admired Online for Making Wood Tablet Casing for Son

Amazing skills of a carpenter dad was admired in social media after he makes a casing of a tablet made out of wood for his son’s gadget.

Nowadays, people who owned gadgets like smartphones or tablets usually buy case to protect their gadgets from scratches and cracks when it falls accidentally. People immediately go to shops or browse online to buy one.

Meanwhile, a practical family showed that they could have one without spending money. In a Facebook post of Mae Pimentel de Dios, she shares the amazing skills of her husband in carpentry.

Mae recently shared the amazing work of her carpenter husband. According to the post, her husband told her that he would be making a wood tablet casing for their son’s gadget so that she doesn’t need to buy anymore.

She shared she was quite skeptical at first, but after a few hours when it was already done, she was surprised to see his husband finished project. Their son’s tablet was perfectly fit in the casing made of wood.

The case is lightweight and is easy to carry by slipping your hand on the side with a large rectangular hole. You can slip a small wood in the same hole and it can now stand in portrait position.

You can also insert another piece of wood on the other end at the back of the casing, then you can let your tablet stand in landscape position. The cover also has holes for the camera, charger, speaker and home button.

Mae shared that it is made from palochina wood and stick them together using wood glue. According to her, the materials used were scraps from their previous projects at home.

Mae shared some photos with a Facebook group and the members were amazed at her husband’s creations. Many asked if they could order for their gadgets; however, Mae explained that her husband did not want to make another copy because his masterpiece was specially made just for his son.

According to the article of Kicker Daily News, her husband was a former banker, but he quit his job and is now he’s a full-time carpenter. He is in the woods and his talent is seen within their home.
