Unidentified Gunman Shots Subdivision Guard During Its Duty

Lipa City, Batangas – A subdivision guard has passed away after he was shot by an unidentified gunman for an unknown reason.

Security guards are personnel hired by private establishments to protect the employing party’s assets including property, people, equipment, money and things included on its area of jurisdiction.

Security personnel are tasked to protect their employers and its possession. They were also assigned to implement the rules and regulations in any means, which is a part of their job.

Unfortunately, some guards have died on line of duty because they were putting their lives at stake just to perform their job.

The CCTV camera installed at a house in Barangay Saba in Lipa City, Batangas caught the arrival of a man riding a motorcycle at the subdivision gate. The guy approached the guard and had a short conversation.

After a few moments, the guard entered the gate and the suspect followed and shoot him. The security personnel was still able to shoot back prompting the suspect to run away with its motorcycle.

The security guard identified as Arnold Dela Cruz immediately passed away due to serious wounds and injuries he obtained from the shootout. The police authorities are still investigating the incident to identify and locate the suspect.
