LJ Reyes Says It's Not Easy To Forgive After Split With Paolo Contis

More than a month after the split, LJ Reyes expresses that forgiving is not easy to do.

LJ REYES – Kapuso actress LJ Reyes confesses that it’s not easy to forgive but she’s praying for a month after her split with Paolo Contis.

The heartbreaking confession of LJ Reyes about the split with Paolo Contis has earned massive love, support, and empathy for her and her two children. She implied in her confession that there was a third party and shortly after this, the actor was spotted with Yen Santos on various occasions which sparked rumors that his leading lady is the third party.

LJ and Paolo share a daughter named Summer and the actor is also close to Aki, the eldest of the actress and apart from LJ, the hearts of the people really go out to the children. The Kapuso actress and the children are currently in the United States bringing the pieces back together when Paolo left them. They are slowly moving on to their new life with just the three of them now.

And in a recent interview, LJ opened up that they are now in a much better state and the three of them are adjusting well in New York. She’s keeping herself busy by helping manage the restaurant they own in Brooklyn and Aki also attends face-to-face classes there to let him experience the normal life he’ll never have, for now, in the Philippines.

In terms of forgiveness now that she has moved on already, she expressed that such is a difficult process and a work in progress. She is working on it and praying about it because just like many of us, she believes that forgiving someone is a hard thing to do. She’s just surrendering it all to God.

She said, “Lahat naman tayo we get hurt, we get angry, but you work on it every day to forgive people, to forgive yourself, or whoever. You pray about it.”
