PAGASA Says Typhoon Mindulle to Affect PH Weather

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the trough of Typhoon Mindulle would bring affect the eastern section of northern Luzon.

On Thursday (September 30, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Typhoon Mindulle would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Typhoon Mindulle has been last spotted at 1,560 kilometers east-northeast of extreme Northern Luzon. The weather system would no longer enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) as it heads towards Japan.

Typhoon Mindulle has maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 215 kph moving 15 kph at a north northeast direction.

Mindulle’s trough would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms would bring similar weather conditions over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Mindanao region.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country would have the same weather condition but possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms due to the localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over extreme northern Luzon and the eastern section of northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. Visayas and Mindanao as well as the rest of the archipelago would have slight to moderate surrounding sea condition.
