Here’s a statement of Kuya Kim Atienza regarding his network transfer speculations and some reactions of the netizens.
KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Weather reporter and Kapamilya host Kim Atienza is rumored to be transferring to GMA and here is his statement about “transition”.
King of Talk Boy Abunda was rumored to be having negotiations with the Kapuso network while it has been over a month already since A-list actress Bea Alonzo officially became a Kapuso. ABS-CBN has failed to secure a franchise to continue to operate and the network has already lost numerous talents because of the shutdown.
And recently, making round online is another ABS-CBN talent, the famous weather reporter Kuya Kim Atienza, being speculated to also jumping to another company. And in a Facebook Live, he shed light on matters such as this. He reminded his viewers about what he said before regarding his transition state.
He said, “And that period of transition is still ongoing. Transition. What does transition mean? Transition is moving from Point A to Point B. This is what I can say: the transition is real.”
Kuya Kim also stated that he will be making an announcement in TV Patrol this Friday, October 1. He cannot disclose any specifics at that moment but he will be making an announcement and that is where he will probably divulge the details.
“It will be official on Friday, that’s what I can tell you. Watch me on TV Patrol on Friday and you will know what it’s all about,” he stated.
With all these speculations about Kuya Kim lingering online, many people got saddened. They feel sad because he has always been a Kapamilya to them. However, they also understand that he has a family to feed and it seems like the rise of ABS-CBN again still remains nowhere in sight for now.
